Konjac Spaghetti with Light Carbonara Sauce
Who said that eating light has to be boring? Today’s recipe is delicious, tasty and with a creamy texture that has little to envy to the original carbonara sauce. And with much fewer calories and no carbs! 😉
This recipe is made with konjac spaghetti, a discovery that I have recently made and that I am loving at the moment. They are made with the fiber of a plant called konjac, they are very satiating and low in calories and carbohydrates. It is a very good substitute for wheat pasta, since we can prepare it in a similar way.
Ingredients:
- Konjac Spaghetti (1 pack of 200g)
- 1/2 onion, diced
- Bacon or ham cut in small pieces
- 3 portions of creamy light cheese or 1 tablespoon of light cream cheese
- 1/2 Cup of milk
- 1/4 tsp konjac powder
- Olive oil
- Salt and pepper
Preparation:
Put the onion in a pan with a drop of olive oil and let it sauté until golden brown. Add the bacon or ham and cook also until golden brown.
